MEMBERSHIP
The subscription for the year 2025/2026 is £55 a person. Applications for membership from those who were members in our last season are now closed.
A programme card containing the details of the forthcoming programme and committee members etc is available for members to pick up from the reception desk at each lecture. Information about all the coming season's lectures, visits and Days of Special Interest can also be found eleswhere on this website.
New members
For reasons of capacity, membership for the 2025/26 season is now full and we are running a waiting list.
Membership enquiries and requests to join the waiting list should be made by email to tasmendip.comm@gmail.com
The annual subscription entitles members:
- to attend 10 lectures per year (no lecture in August or September)
- to receive the Arts Society magazine ‘Review’ four times a year direct from headquarters in London
In addition, members and visitors may enjoy:
- visits and tours to places of interest
- Days of Special Interest (a deeper dive into a particular subject)
These are subject to additional charges.
Visitors
We welcome visitors to individual lectures. Space in the hall is limited and we are having to limit the number of visitors we can accommodate, so it's therefore essential that you book beforehand by emailing tasmendip.comm@gmail.com It is first come first served!
On arrival please make your way to the signing-in desk at the back of the hall. The cost of attending a lecture is £10 - we take cash and cheques and you can also pay by card.
If you would like to join as a visitor on Zoom, please email us as above. We run most lectures as hybrid lectures - please follow this link to see which lectures are available on Zoom and which aren't https://www.theartssocietymendip.org.uk/Lectures/FutureLectures.aspx. We will then let you know how to pay and arrange to send you the Zoom link. You'll need to book youself in and pay by the Friday before the lecture at the latest.
